COURSE DESCRIPTION

 An introduction to the journalistic uses of photography

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, the students are expected to:

Cognitive

possess a thorough understanding of the principles and techniques of photography as applied to journalism.

Affective

develop an appreciation for the art of photography

Psychomotor

apply the knowledge gained from the course in designing photo layouts and creating captions for print publications such as newspapers and magazines.
